Secure and Scalable AWS Managed Services for Enparadigm’s CatalyX Learning Platform

Enparadigm is a leading learning technology and talent-enablement company delivering AI-driven experiential learning, digital simulations, role-fit assessments, and micro-learning solutions. Their flagship platform, CatalyX, enables scalable and personalized learning journeys for enterprise customers across industries including BFSI, FMCG, IT/ITES, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. The platform is delivered as a multi-tenant SaaS solution hosted on AWS and serves global enterprise clients requiring high availability, scalability, and secure access.

The Challenge

The platform was already hosted on AWS but operated with limited monitoring, minimal cloud security controls, and partially manual deployment processes. Application environments across development, pre-production, and production required consistent governance and operational standardization. Security visibility and compliance tracking were insufficient, creating risks in a multi-account SaaS environment handling enterprise client data.

Backups, patching, and operational maintenance activities were partly manual, increasing operational overhead and risk of configuration drift. The client required centralized governance, stronger security posture, and scalable infrastructure management to support global growth of their platform.

Our Solution

  • A comprehensive AWS Managed Services and Cloud-Security Operations framework was implemented across Enparadigm’s multi-account AWS environment.
  • Continuous monitoring and operational management were established for application servers, Amazon RDS databases, and Amazon S3 storage. Deployment pipelines and release processes were standardized with CI/CD practices.
  • Security services including GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config, and CloudTrail were enabled across all accounts to provide centralized threat detection, compliance monitoring, and audit visibility.
  • Infrastructure governance was implemented using AWS Organizations, IAM role segmentation, and cross-account resource sharing via AWS Resource Access Manager.
  • Backup and disaster-recovery processes were centralized using AWS Backup with encrypted snapshots and automated retention policies.
  • Operational automation using AWS Systems Manager and AWS Lambda reduced manual maintenance, enabling automated patching, configuration management, and scheduled operational tasks.
  • Network and application protection was strengthened with Elastic Load Balancing, AWS WAF, and AWS Shield, while secure remote connectivity was provided via OpenVPN.

Results

  • The engagement established a secure, highly available, and scalable AWS environment supporting Enparadigm’s global SaaS learning platform.
  • Security posture improved significantly through continuous monitoring and centralized security services including GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config.
  • Deployment timelines were reduced through CI/CD automation and standardized infrastructure management.
  • Operational overhead decreased due to automated patching, backup, monitoring, and governance controls across multiple AWS accounts.
  • The CatalyX platform achieved improved performance and scalability for global enterprise users while maintaining strong compliance and security standards.
  • Enparadigm’s internal teams were able to focus on product innovation and learning-design initiatives instead of infrastructure management.
